Great write up Helen! 8)
Hope you don't mind a little input from me..?!!

Be careful when removing the window switch with the lever technique. There is a plastic jutting out bit/clip on the front that has a tendency to break..!

Passenger switch back shown here.

If after removing all the door card screws & popping the fasteners along the bottom pulling the door card out slightly, you reach your hand up between the back of the door card & the sheet plastic membrane, follow the contour till you get to the switch loom & find the metal clip at the back of the switch.. Simply press the metal clip & pop the switch out!!

This will/should avoid any potential disappointment breaking the plastic clip on the front..
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

Hi Jay
That's actually what I did...so I'll amend that...I previously snapped the front plastic on the passenger side one...BUT the driver's one on mine has 2 spring clips...one front, one back?...anyway...as you say...forewarned is good!
Cheers
Helen
In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
