Looks like it's got built-in washer jet too which could be useful, but might require a change of wiper motor to the type where the washer pipe goes through a hollow tube the the centre of the spindle. That would be cool modification as the top mounted washer jet is not the most effective is it.

Changing motors is a whole new ball game as it comes down to mounting points and seems like a whole load of hassle when you could use the bongo wiper motor and drill a small descreet hole fitted with a grommet covered by the wiper arm when its in its rest position for the pipe to pass through then extend the origional supply tube and run it down the inside of the door to plumb it into the new feed.

I can just see all the breakers in the uk getting emptied of disco and festa rear wiper arms this week

Gotta go now the wifes beemer is mingin and needs some turtle shine lurve, catch yaz later

=D> =D> =D> How did you bolt the wiper arm up without it slipping on it's spindle M80?

I tried the mark 5 fiesta rear wiper mod a few years back but i couldn't get the wiper arm to "grip" the bongo's wiper spindle properly...

I settled in the end for just using the actual fiesta "aero" blade on the standard bongo arm (refurbed). Handy little mod as it gives a much bigger sweep...

http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... esta+wiper

The proper fiesta blade would suit that new rear arm a treat M80, the whole thing will then look moulded, and more modern.

I know have the Mazda Demio rear wiper (thanks Mikexgough) Which bolted straight up and gripped nicely.

Is that a reversing camera fitted into a pot noodle cup on the top? Nice mod where can i get one. You could colourcode the noodle cup to make it blend in a bit better, as i know you are a dab hand with those aerosols, and dont forget that mask.

It gripped because i'm an engineering genius  I was suprised at just how thin the spindle on the rear of the bongo is so i drilled out the wiper hinge pins and used the mazda mount and the ford wiper arm, it needs a washer either side of the mazda mount to take up the gap but its a hybrid mazda / ford union just like back in the 90's. :D

On the + side if anyone on here has a mk4 festa and wants a hybrid bongo wiper on the rear i have all the bits to achieve your goals
