I appear to have permanently broken the switch now anyway by prising the auto rocker off. Out pinged a spring and a ballbearing that I have no idea how to replace. All I can see is a grease smeared cradle and the spring doesn't appear to fit on to the spigot on the rocker. Has anybody managed to reassemble one of these rocker switches?

The reason I ask is that the actual switch unit with the circuit board seems to work OK (by moving the white sliders) it seems to be the cover unit on top that's the problem.

Hi Matt

Has a little white box with contacts & an "appendage" at the top come out directly below the passenger window disable rocker switch..?? If so the tiny spring & ball bearing sits in a recess in the "white box", causing the click!

If the box with the appendage is still attached to the rocker passenger disable switch when you pulled it apart? Remove it from the under side by pulling it out then assemble the box with contacts the spring goes into the recess first then the bearing push it into where it sits on the PCB behind the "faders" that operate the windows... Then when you assemble the switch housing over the top click the rocker to the on position (i think?) & it will click/assemble in place to operate the contacts..? (Its easier to line it all up & reassemble that way, bearing in mind the fiddlyness if the assembly under the the passy window off switch.)

... It's easier to show than type..!
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
