, I went for 5/30 GTX Magnatec (synthethic) which is currently available for £17.50 for 4 litres at Halfords. While fully synthetic is probably slightly OTT for an engine with 80,000 miles, it was cheaper than the semi-synth, so seemed like a good deal.
