The main argument against re-fitting a standard exhaust is the sheer size and weight of the thing.
I reckon a standard rear box costs about 1mpg all on it's own.

They will regard it as a modification (and they 'look nice'). They may not charge more, but I believe they have to some members. They should be told to avoid grief later.skater wrote:Why would the insurance company not like stainless?

I guess it depends on the type you go for...... if you went for a sport noise dual pipe system (because you can) .....or like me a standard sound single pipe as per standard (other than the hefty rear boxskater wrote:Why would the insurance company not like stainless?
