Goodness knows , is the answer...just daft, really, as the little icons are self-explanatory...I have no idea why . Even air conditioning has a snowflake, heater is red, etc. I think most cars label clearly...oh...the above is just my humour , by the way ...forgot the smilies....Tyre pressures usually show a car signifying tyres...most usually in Bars...I still use pounds shillings and pence measures...can't help it!

It seems a a bit like marking Reliant Robin switches in Japanese ..!!

Plus there are blanks for LHD applications too... Note where the pedal box would sit on a LHD bongo (if there was such a thing available from the factory) The blanks are there... As is blanks for the windscreen wiper mounts for LHD conversions. A smaller detail is a blank for the aerial (well, a blank lug mount) On our "drivers side".

Wow - they do exist! One thing to note from first picture is the foot rest for the drivers left foot is still on the right of the van i.e. the passengers side!

Some in Ph are converted to LHD but this is an original LHD

Well I now have my Astra headlights and the car goes in to the gargage on Thursday. I will keep you all updated

Whoopee whoopee.

Just picked the Bongo up from the garage. They have done an excellent job and my new headlights look great and you can not see the join at all. I now have a full MOT for the next year. I will take some pictures in daylight tomorrow for all to see.

It took the garage about 4 hours to complete the installation but as the going rate here is just over 20 euros an hour that was not to bad. The units cost 48 euros for the pair from the local car parts supplier and here anyway are stock items. Also the lenses are clipped on and the local place can get LHD replacement lenses and claim we should be able to get RHD lenses in the UK.

Another interesting small point is that here the fog lanp switch should have a yellow lamp not red as we use in the UK, but the MOT place has given me a whole year to fix that.

Nice job and handy to know..... the RHD units are £25 in the UK... LHD are around £50 each... or £130 delivered/Tax etc...per pair.... Still nowt from the Philippines on LHD Bongo units

Please can you tell me how you got round the self levelling function, as it looks very likely this will be the route I have to take.

What self levelling?

I used to have an Astra F. In the back of the lamp unit, there is a locating point for an electric motor that is connected to the reflector within the lamp unit. The motor is controlled by the driver via a thumb wheel.
Just wondering how people got round this issue?
