Hold on... lets clear something up. Do you have this stuff live from a leisure battery?? If so? you may have an inverter hidden somewhere?? Perhaps behind the rear panel, near the lighter socket..? Just a guess!

right what i think i'll try is to disconect the whole light fitting, does have a plug on it or will i need to cut the wiring?
the battery is brand new.
there are no invertors in the van so its not that.
it seems to flatton the battery in about a week with no use to the van.
