Just got back from the Pod, got rained orf agin today (Monday) dammit. Some great qualifying runs on Saturday and Sunday though. The Pink Lady ran a blinder after so many disappointments so well done to them and of course Miss Kay for using some not inconsiderable skill in getting it down the alley like a scalded cat. =D> =D> =D>

Hi again Terry, good to finally meet up with you.

Let down by the weather again so no finals got run on Monday. But what a weekend before that!
After a couple of attempts where she just sat up and span the tyres we finally got sorted on Saturday afternoon and ran an absolutely storming 7.44sec 182mph run.
A slight improvement on her previous best of 9.1secs. :D

See you again at the Main Event.

Hi Chris

NOT sure of the layout for an event like Big Bang but I would recommend asking for a pass for "Family Camping" assuming you have a family with you.
http://www.santapod.co.uk/g_site.php Right hand edge of the site map.

At other events the camping area on the "banking side" near Fuelers Bar can be a bit rowdy and the partying goes on till the early hours. Chances are that most of the events, stalls, exhibitors will be around the race paddock area so you may be nearer to them if you get in Family Camping.

Have a great time
P
