Well NB. Your were nearly as bad as the Storm Chasers. To Bongo, where no other Bongo has been before.

Pics to follow

Here is a pic of the Barge Inn, Pewsey from across the Canal. A very interesting Inn. The Beers and Ciders themselves seemed a little Alien to us

Well off we went in search of the mystical Crop Circles and didn't have to go far. Infact, we didn't even need to turn a wheel of the Bongo to see the 1st example.
This Crop Circle was the N0 27 on the
Silent Circle Cafe 2011 Website
and if you click on
No26 you can see two others and the campsite in the top left hand corner
which also show number
19.
when we visited
no26 it wasn't the early 4 scorpion version it was the later 5 Scorpion example.
Emma's favourite was
N045 which was particularly interesting.
No47was little more dubious for the disbeliever (make up your own mind)
Here are a few pics inside the Crop Circles
Finally off on the road we ventured to Silent Circle Cafe Head Quarters at Yatesbury (just off the A4 between Marlborough and Calne)
and off around Avebury.
http://www.silentcircle.co.uk/SC2010.html
Here are a few snaps of the Stone Circle that surround the village centre.
All in all a very interesting area to visit. Lots to do and it doesn't cost the Earth.

   Well recommended.

for those out there that are interested in this sort of thing have a look at The Human Butterfly on the internet, and its possible links to Dec 21, 2012.
no im not turning into the David Ike of the bongo club, but it could make you think about things in a different way.
