Bongo Fury

Now Julian here is an opportunity for you ( and Eva) or perhaps Ian? I've been looking for a gate style door fir the back of the Bongo as described by Helen to stop over zealous hounds jumping out when the door raised ... A lOcal supplier in Bracknell ( who shall remain nameless ) want about £350 for this item ... can u devise something to challenge this that is reasonably priced ?

That's where I had mine made for my Suzuki Wagon R+ I had one made for the front and the rear, and they took an age to measure...The finished pair were rather dear, but I reckon that with the work that goes into making them, they are a good buy...however , if you hunt around , there are a lot of firms doing guards made to measure...I really would like a set if anyone does get to having the Bongo measured....plus some for the side windows!
It wasn't a problem with the Landie when I had them...they're made to abuse

Would a modified child gate thing like this not do the job?

Just had a quick think about this... By law & design do both OS/NS doors need to have their own latch..?

That is one of the reasons, prob the main one.
Not that i do that the moment but if i go into buisness i would want to put my welding kit in the back in a site box.
And i can sleep in it if far away.
If i sell it and get a van it would have to be a crew cab (big £) also could be a pile, devil you know and all that.
My Bongo is very well looked after machanics wise but a bit knocked around, would not get much for it.
Just testing the water to see if it had been done.
