Best not to risk going against the recommendations, 'specially not with the (expensive) autobox. Worth knowing what's in the factsheet in the member's area, too, if you haven't already read it.

GSF are very good...... been dealing with them for 30 yrs now from when they were Andyspares and just did Citroens .....brought me many deliveries via their van of Red/Green Hydraulic fluid, Suspension spheres, 2CV Kingpins...... don't the years go by..... Got an order delivered this morning from them.....Some Parts for an 80's Lotus Sunbeam.. :D
Big up for GSF! ;)

Given your experience, two questions:
- do you reckon CarLube ATF-Q3 Dexron III a good choice?
- is 21 quid for 4.5L (delivered) a good deal? (bearing in mind I needed to get 2 to do the job)

I reckoned it wasn't bad... interesting to hear another opinion, though.
CarLube is great stuff, all their products are well used across the trade( they are part of Tetrosyl who do Car Plan Premium Red coolant among other things like T-Cut .... can't comment on price but I guess if you compare to Halfrauds.... then yes...
