I need a new battery too, my original is a Jap so I cant read the info on the sticker, so whats the best amp hour to go for mines a 2.5 diesel (99).
I measured it and it was 300mm long and I can`t see where I can gain the extra 15mm from as the one you quote is 315mm long there is no room to the left as the fuse carriers are allmost touching the side and it is as far as it will go to the right in the battery tray. what have others gone for :?:

Well it fitted my 2.5 TD, which is a 95 model. Big tends to be good in selecting a battery

hmmm - it should be adequate but I'd prefer min 95Ah in a (2.5td) campervan

Factory maximum batteries were only 64Ah...... 70Ah/66 CCA batteries are superb....95Ah is a little OTT IMHO .....but if ya feel you need it....it's your dosh....and you only get the same gtee.....

I agree with mikeonb4c that in a camper van you might want to go for a higher Ah battery. But it all depends on how you use your van: we have no leisure battery, and sometimes the kids will leave a Nintendo DS on to charge (using a little inverter), or watch a DVD, with the engine off. A 95Ah battery will not discharge too much with this sort of use. If you don't ever plug stuff in or leave the interior light on with the engine off, then a cheaper, lower Ah battery will be fine.

cheers for all your coments, I have a leisure battery 85ah so dont realy need the higher spec for the car battery, currently looking at some griffin batteries on there website in oldham seem very reasonable any one dealt with them? they have a couple of negatives on their feedback
