Hello Peeps

I had a chat with Keith today (Landlord of the Peasant and till mid December the Rose and Crown in Cark. Keith confirmed that there are two rooms available at the Rose and Crown, Cark-In-Cartmel, LA11 7NU. One double and one twin.

If anyone is interested in booking them be best to ring The Pheasant on 015395 32239 and ask to speak to either Keith, Cath or Charlotte their daughter.

That's fine Di, it is looking like it will be just a Saturday night, Sunday morning event. You can't surely be old enough to need extra warmth though LOL - Done

Looks like this is going to be a cosy event. We can huddle in the kitchen or the hall

An old cure for Manflu, handed down for centuries, from father to son, till the handle dropped off:-

Start up the BBQ

Open a good bottle of Malt (for suggestions speak to Keith {you know where Im going with this now} )

Pour same over hot coals

Breath deeply and sniff fumes

Brian

Ps....are you sure you have Manflu?.....check here for symptoms :-

The Paramedic gives a cure at the end

Brian I preferred the muddy dog ad at the beginning of that who I would have been happy to have shared a bed with! The dog looked smart enough to be able to wash the sheets in the morning with a Bosch washing machine lol
