Thanks YBB, if you say so that's good enough for me.

Have ordered one and will fit it some time next week.

I have ordered a sun visor screen from China with 9 inch screen for the rear view camera.

http://www.chinavasion.com/product_info ... rey-right/

Seems to be a cheap deal but if it works it will suit me fine, other variations are also available.

Anyone dealt with this company before ?.

Ben.

I have. I got a rear-view-mirror screen and a wired reversing camera from them - much cheapness, and all went well.

The screen's a wee bit tricky to use though, as it's also a mirror you have to tip it 'up' to point it at the roof so you can see the picture clearly if it's sunny. OK at night though.

Overall, chinavasion look pretty dodgy, but are actually fine.

Hi Pat n Ben

Did you get your screen? Does it do the job and how was it to fit?

Yes I did a couple of weeks ago from chinavasion.com.

The 9 inch screen is a lot better than I expected, I removed the old visor,
dropped the courtesy light panel. fitted the new visor and pulled the cables
into the courtesy light roof space. I temporarily hooked up the extension
cables to the rear camera and it all looked and worked fine in the daylight.

While the new visor fits the existing visor supports, it does tend to hang
at a small angle when lowered which could possibly be cured by shortening
the visor swivel bracket, which I will do unless dave_aber has a better
suggestion.

Old age and the weather has stopped me from completely finishing the
cable installation, but when I do, I am sure I will be extremely pleased
with the result.

Ben.
