...........Lucky find....!

Well guys i reckons that this belt, off timing on the driver side cams (belt jumped a tooth on inlet and exhaust cam), chipped inlet cam pulley on passenger side, and auto tensioner with no tension had everything to do with my unexplained and scary noise that my poor van had. After sitting in bits in my garage for the last 9 months , i finally got my diy cam belt change and repairs done and it is on the road and running like a dream again (looks like a bag of sh#t tho), i am so happy :D :D :D :D chuffed is the word. I'm so glad i didn't listen to the monkeys that told me i had head probs then bottom end probs, then one mechanic said it was a piston ring my local bongo garage said the noise was a piston ring  even i could tell it wasn't that :!: , strange as he had a v6 engine on his floor with probs, but bless him he offered me £600 to take the whole van of my hands [-X. He most certainly won't be recomended by me PERIOD must have thought i fell off the last banana boat. Anyway who cares i've got my puppy back 8) 8)
