I just telephoned redsquirrel campsite and they are happy for anyone to just turn up without booking.
If the campsite should be full he will find us somewhere on the property but promises it won't be 3,000 feet up!

I can just picture it now.... All us bongos crammed into the space between the chemical toilet disposal point and the recycling / rubbish point.... with hardly enough space between the vans to open the sliding door!!!

(note to self... bring ear plugs... for fear of snoring) Just have to spend all evening in the pub

Time to make a definite list of who is comming and to try to reserve a number of pitches on the campsite me thinks. On past experience I have found it not much fun and difficult to socialise when everyone is spread all over the campsite.
