What the chuffin' eck is bara craf ????...sounds like it could be a mysterious black pudding blessed by a primaeval entity, for use in strange eating rituals
Muz...I agree, there's nothing like a good chip....and there's NOTHING like a good chip in Bulgaria.....all commercial chips appear to be re-formed powdered tatties, and simply taste ABOMINABLE....and most potatoes sold here are entirely unsuitable for normal cooking...they only really suit mashing,or JUST about suitable for baking on the barbie...We've tried every way of frying , and they won't fry ...we've done 'em in the wok, in a pan , in a fryer, boiled first and cooled, and then fried, flash-fried and re-fried later....No Result....the only way they serve tatties here is boiled, and then put in the oven smothered in olive oil.....and they are unsuitable for anyone with teeth
DESPERATE, now...may import seed tatties, if that can be done
