Where was the photo of the swans taken Muz, was it not GunKnowe Loch in Tweedbank?. Can't think of anywhere else near the A7.

You did not pop in to say hello this time.

Tony

I am with you David about Muz's eating habits. Eating Haggis without the obligatory Neeps and Tatties is sacrilegious.

Hi Tony, no, it was about three miles south of Selkirk and there is a convenient layby to avoid causing a crash on the A7.....

We were on a tight schedule, tighter than last time. Last time was an August bank-holiday weekend and so we had an extra day if necessary and more daylight to work with. This time the banger-racing was going to start at 6pm whether we were there or not

Muz - have you tried out Dockers fish and chips in Prestwich yet - a mere tiny diversion on your way home from work?

No, not yet. That is convenient, though

I've tried the Metro Fish Bar further on up towards Bury. But that Dockers place looks interesting, I'm liking the look of the Spam fritters and black pudding :D

Muz - I tried the chips from Dockers last week and they were lovely :) They sell all sorts of strange things. The best bit is that the shop used to be a 'Boots' a long time ago and it still has the original stone step with Boots on it in mosiac tiles.

Everyone raves about Metro but it just doesn't look like a chippy so its a no from me.

A little tip for you, NEVER read any of Muz's posts. I have got a Bongo but I just feel inadequate as a human being    He's certainly not the only one on here who makes journeys to be jealous of and posts photos to prove it though. Three cheers for everyone who actually makes the most of their wonderful vehicle.
