Cheap as chips - just like me
Dandywarhol gets credit for it
PS - if you do it, use a tube as a former (see pic above) and evostick the liner in place (more than one layer if you feel inclined but from memory it shouldn't need it). Most importantly trim the edges neatly flush with the bushes just in case a pernickity MOT station takes issue with the DIY repair (frankly, they shouldn't though as its a very solid and sound fix provided the old rubbers aren't badly perished). Incidentally, for the purposes of eliminating the antirollbar, you could stuff any old thing (rag or w.h.y.) in there just to firm things up and allow you to discover on a road test whether loose bushes were the cause (I've a niggling feeling they might not be the cause but hope I am proved wrong)

Well good result

~it stopped raining this afternoon (at last) so thought i'd sort my anti roll bar bushes out~took old ones off & was'nt too pleased as they (to me) looked good, anyway thought i'd buy 2 new ones & replace them put them on had a test drive & could'nt believe the difference the "rumble in the jungle" has gone (thank god)
So thanks to you lovely people for the advise & the bonus was it was a cheap fix.

Wow - great result. I was waiting for it not to be that - unusual for me to guess it right (I feel all technical all of a sudden

).
Save the planet (

) by keeping the old ones and sleeving them with bicycle inner tube ready for re-use. I'm quite sure that works pretty much as well as new ones.
