I decided to call into my local garage, and i said i have the brake pads how much to fit them #-o
Deep intake of breath, and he said two lads half hours work, shaking his head. [-o< :shock:
then he said with a smile just give the lads a fiver each. :D

Bargain 8) It isn't worth messing about with them for a tenner, especially when it's cold outside :lol: :lol:

Result =D> =D> =D> And you probably saved about £5 in elastoplasts, swarfega (spelling?) , laundry charges and associated grief for getting oil on your clothes :lol: :lol: :lol: Thats my kind of DIY mechanics :wink: :D

Our brakes needed doing BADLY. Down to the metal nearly :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: A small window in the weather last week and the brake pads we had for months are now safely installed by Hubby. Had to be done and he feels much safer if he knows it is done properly by himself. Nice clean, clean, clean oil change done as well. Just been down to Weston Super Mare and back in the knowledge that everything is clean and working well.

The price you got quoted (a Tenner) is a smashing price though. :wink:
