Bongo Fury

Just been over Cannock Chase to take dog for a run she does'nt walk and found this camp site. Springslade Lodge WS12 4PT.

Thought it might make replacement for Tackeroo if closed . www.springsladelodge.co.uk

I've just emailed the Ranger to see if we can use it from 11.00am on Sunday 18th as a Day meet.

See last years posts for lots of photos, the site has NO facilities so OK for a daymeet. Other campsites are nearby with positive reviews incl http://www.springsladelodge.co.uk and http://www.siteseeker.co.uk/aspx/detail ... priority=1

Tackeroo is on Cannock Chase, there's a visitor centre nearby and lots of other activities it's a good day out if the weather's ok.

we could be up for this one.might bring my mum(82)!i think she`d enjoy meeting all the lovely bongo folk!we`ll pencil that one in,then.

Had the chat, Definitely confirmed that it was available . but this year we can't use the Site for free for the day meet - They would like to charge £3 per vehicle - same rates as the more crowded visitor centre. This seems reasonable - does everybody agree?

We paid £3 each to par at Rutland Water last Sunday......
