I have one to fit soon, can you recall what colour the wire was on the beeper box?
Can't say for sure off the top of my head (and I'm stuck at work for another 8 days so I can't check) but green/white rings a bell. 3rd one along on the connector IIRC. I have a set of very sharp probes on my meter, so I can pierce cables to measure what's inside them. I found the right one this way
(If I'm honest, I found the wrong one first, since I wasn't paying attention!)
Like the idea of a roof view camera for barriers!

Just as an aside, has anyone tried one of those reversing lenses you see on buses etc?

My Dad always had one of those on his motorhomes, I'd forgotten about them.

Has anyone tried to fit a camera using the fixings for the rear mirror. Obviously with a reversing camera this mirror won't be needed, so to remove it and somehow fix a camera in it's place (in the little missing section of spoiler?) would be the ideal solution.
This one looks like it might fit with a bit of negotiation, although haven't been out to remove/assess the rear mirror as is snowing and too cold!

although I have also seen some with a fixing plate which could replace the current mirror fixing plate?

I haven't tried it using the rear mirror fixings, but I removed one of the bolts holding the rear spoiler brake lens and replaced it with a longer one that also secures the camera in place. No extra drilling, perfectly positioned and easy to remove again.

My Stereo has the input for a camera, just trying to decide which one to get as some of the cheaper ones i have seen produce a real poor quality picture and some of the dearer ones are still the cheaper ones but marked up too high
I will find one sooner or later but being as I'm like a bear and don't do anything outside during the winter I still have a bit of time to find one

I can't quite see where you mounted the camera - where about under the rear lights?

Looks like just inside the rear window, top centre, judging by the position of the reversing mirror outside - but what is the bulge in the headlining? Is there a high-level brake light inside shining through the rear window on some models (newer ones?)
