Doone - no-one likes a smart arris... (Ta...)
8) You haven't read the pm I sent you then.
Does anyone know if it's the new owner or is the Finnegan's still around?
This is what I read about Finnegans, on a Landie forum: "The original owners of Finnegans sold out to Hunting Lubricants (of Hunting Aviation fame - who built the new factory - subsequently sold out to ICI Paints).
The hammer finish by Hunting and ICI was not the same mix as the original Finnegans - it gets worse as time goes on (with ICI - more to do with the Solvent Regs.)".
Allans Garage retired. Try PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services Plymouth

I'm used to the old Finnegan's Waxoyl - great stuff - but noticed that the last can I bought on-line was by Tetrosyl - tho' still called 'Waxoyl'.

Does anyone know if it's the new owner or is the Finnegan's still around? Is the new stuff much different - it certainly looks a bit like it.

Cheers.
Tetrosyl eh? Used to associate that name with underseal (hardens, cracks, moisture gets underneath). Not what you want if so I think
