Handbrake doesn't work on the disks as such. There is a wee drum brake built into the middle of each rear disk. The handbrake activates a set of shoes inside this drum unit. Same as a Subaru Impreza!

Yep, kind of meant that, all seems well and lesson learnt re tent pegs !

=D> The next time someone asks why they're getting sluggish performance and using lots of LPG, we'll know the answer. :wink:
But isn't it great when there's a simple cure. :)
