Unburnt fuel will also wreck the catalytic converter

BTW if you google the MAF resistor mod there is nothing posetive to be said about it, crude attempt to overfuel which doesn't really work.

All it actually does is just what the throttle does, but quicker, so you have just the same response but over a shorter throttle movement - all this does is fool boy racers into thinking their car is performing better.
