A trolley jack !:shock:Crumbs, that will do the biz but it must take up a fair bit of space.

Hi
No...I have it in the back, and when we go shopping, just clip the rear seats up, and get36 Kg of meat, 30 Kg spuds, 12 Kg froz veg, fresh veg, 24 litres longlife milk, 110 litres water...household cleaners 40 eggs, half a doz. bottles of sauces, 2 Kilos washing powder 35 tins catfood, 10 tins of food for the larder......the list goes on and on...we also take a friend to help us with the 3 huge trolleys at the wholesalers...he's 120 Kg....
Now a weeny trolly jack doesn't notice...nor the socket set and large canvas bag of tools....so what kind of car could carry that lot....and the back is only full to halfway when the shopping is stacked in boxes.
Drive home in air conditioned comfort....you know what....????....the Japs might be on to a good thing with this vehicle called a Bongo
Wouldn't be without it!
Cheers
Helen

Helen - If I ever break down and see you passing I will throw myself in your path secure in the knowlege that if you stop you will have all that is required for a roadside engine swap - and a full meal :)

Hi Van

But ye olde Bongo is a fine vehicle....since we've been here we've carried EVERYTHING...including the kitchen sink!...even a kitchen wood-burning range that took 4 men to move....It's just a teensy bit small for carrying over 2.0 metres long, except longer pieces of 4x4, as it won't take a 4'6" mattress...ah, well...
Cheers
