As well as Breakdown cover, do you have any form of holiday insurance? Maybe there's some other cover available?

Best of luck

The only other cover I've got is travel insurance but to be fair I've not been put out of pocket (other than the repairs of course..lol) yet and I don't think I will be. Thankfully the bongo broke down outside my apartment and my uncle lives down here so I've not been stranded. I've had to make a slight change to my travel plans which means I've got a 12 - 13 hr drive upto Calais tomorrow. As opposed to the same journey being broken down with an overnight stay in the bongo half way. Travelling time is only pressured as I've got to get the dog sorted with the vet and the campsite we are going to will sort this out for me thankfully (still going to the original site but staying in a static caravan for a couple of nights instead).

Having a nice relaxing day today after sorting all the admin out for the trip home yesterday and the day before.

Hopefully that is the end of it :)

Hi all,

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Made it home with a relatively small amount of stress - never trust someone who used to be in the RAF when it comes to directions and meet up points....lol

As far as I'm aware Charlie's still on his holidays in the S of France and will hopefully be making his way back to the UK over the next week.

Take care
