Sweet, I'm very tired and very happy!
Jaylee, great to meet you and your other half at last.
Thanks to all the other wonderful people I met over the weekend... particularly those who helped me track down my youngest son who was better than Houdini at escapology!

daveblueozzie wrote:BRILL MEET, enjoyed every minute of the bash, even when a bunch of us sat in the awning for an hour when it rained didn't bother us one bit..
Loads of people i wanted to meet and never got round to them
Loads of new faces i did meet , smashing.
Hello to anyone who i didn't speak to or just nodded to.
P's have a nice holiday Carl and Justine (cabte) it was fun.

Ditto that. V. sorry I didn't meet half the peeps I would have loved to meet but blink and the weekends gone. Big big thanks to Ian and Marianne and all the marshalls for another unique and magical interlude such as only Bongo peeps can make happen. Personal thanks to the Muzorewas for the invitation to Paella with them - yummy scrummy, to And and Den and to the Munkeys for their stonking musical collections, Chell & Ady for being lovely neighbours, and Harry for putting the NW marquee next to our secluded spot by the river - but I love it, fell asleep all happy to the sound of Bob singing a load of dodgy Bongo ballads with drunken choruses that were actually remarkably good all things considered
Great to see/meet (as well as those above):
Aitch
Mr & Mrs Alant54
Little Daddy Cain (where's Ste gone

)
DaveblueOzzie
Dabs
Boy From Brasil
Crazy Uncle G (one of the original Bongo ancestors along with LDC)
Mr & Mrs Cabte
The Hatris's
The DogsB*llox
NorthernTaff (sorry we couldn't hang around to talk more on Sunday)
Mr & Mrs Scanner
Kirsty
Hotpot
WestonWarrior
Bongo Louis
Blobber
Bob
Snowkiter
JDS
Di and Jamie
Rushmon (yo - Tom Petty is THE man)
gawd I know there were others but my 64k memory chip runs out there. Great also to meet the Kiwi (haven't got name to hand) who is about to tour UK for 4 weeks in a Bongo, and actually made it to this Valhalla for Bongo owners - I think he sensed it was a magical occasion.
Many peeps I'm sorry I missed but you just can't do it all.
Haven't taken any pics cos I reckon others will have done it much better than I could.
We went to Cosford Air Museum on Saturday - superb, and next years Bash is offering a coach tour to the museum. If you like that kind of thing then I highly recommend booking. The collection, running displays, and the staff there are outstanding.

You can certainly add our thanks to the list as well - to Ian & Marianne and to all the Bongo yellowcoats - and both bands - great entertainment!
