Just thinking about it - it HAS to be exactly an inch as the tyre on both rim sizes is exactly the same width and profile so that is the same for both wheels.
The only difference is the diameter of the rim and that difference is 16-15 = 1.

Cheapest way to put it right, is change the tyre profile to 60 when you replace them.

Yup, but it'd need all four doing, and (I'm guessing) Shogun std size tyres (at /65 profile) will be cheaper than /60's?

It ain't a problem, the speedo is spot-on, ride is good, and the revs are a bit lower, helping mpg a little.

Just wondered about the extra height causing probs with the drive-shaft couplings (covered on the forum), and thinking of body-roll being slightly increased.

Not necessarily.

The centre of the hub is still in the same place!
The "extra height" is in the tyre and if that isn't evenly distributed around the whole circumference, you have much bigger trouble than an extra inch of height.*

*Thinking again your Bongo is only half an inch higher than standard as only one half inch is between the hub and the road the other half inch is sitting on top of the tyre in thin air.

How much extra height would normal springs give me?

Also she(the Bongo) seems to be alot lower at the back than the front, why is this, is it the weight, its fitted with side kitchen and rock n roll bed, can't be that heavy can it? Is there anything I can do to lift the rear slightly?

That depends upon how much the lowering springs have lowered it and how "fresh" the normal springs are as all springs "sag" with age (don't we all )

Yeah they look pretty good. Suppose the first thing I need to do is find out how much shes been lowered, the air suspension kits won't work if its too low. Is there a way to measure this or is it guesswork?

Just picked up our very first Bongo! Slightly concerned about how low it is, previous Japanese owner has fitted lowering springs. This gives us only a few inches between exhaust and ground, also getting a knock from wheel area when going over some bumps. Any ideas what this may be?

How easy is it to refit normal springs, any ideas of cost? We could do with not having to worry every time we go over a bump.
