Was wondering about the lack of input about this trip. Is it a new addition to the Bongo yearly events hence the lack of drunken tales, emergency repairs and general mayhem that usually surrounds these events.

Or perhaps the members who are going (I think I've only met 2 from the list supplied) are into more sedate things like needlecraft and tea dances. :?

As for a hike on Saturday, there are loads of walks from the camp only problem is they all end up at PUBS
Also as an added bit of fun I'm trying hard to fix a puncture in our Kayak, that should be a bit of a laugh :D
Anyone interested in a paddle, Remember to pack your water wings and Speedos

Great couple of days camping lots of wind and rain definitely not summer  but we managed a full day walking and cycling and talking to peeps. Didn't get round to lots because of the wind and left early. Our Bongo is set up for outside living, but because of this summer we are thinking of redoing the conversion so we can sit inside and have a visitor :D .
thanks to all who were so friendly despite the adverse conditions.

What a wet and windy weekend! Site was pretty and drained well, no mud. Again we were lied to on another Bongo hike with "it's only an hours walk along the seafront to the pub, 2 meals for £7". An hour and 45 minutes later we were ready to order 2 meals each!

Crazy uncle G tried to shift the blame onto the lady on reception saying it was her suggestion but we know what a fibber he is - where was that kayak?

Sorry we didn't get to say bye to everyone but all pitches looked quiet at 10am when we left. Didn't realise that was you G8dhe that we were pitched next to. Hi to you both.

Have a glorious summer everyone :D

 What's 45 mins between friends?
As for the kayak  I think if I'd tried to float it in that wind I'd have ended up in Brighton
quicker than it took us to walk to the Ferry Boat Pub
P.S I've got a great walk planned for Looe :D Any takers?
cheers! party on dudes.
