I used this method on my old camper a couple of times, but I'm not sure it would be that easy on a Bongo. There's nothing to thread the strap through on the door :( .

My best suggestion for security when you're asleep, is to get a dog. :) Nothing gets past them and if they hear a prowler, they let you know. Or...you could put a very big dog bowl and a large can of dog food outside the van/awning...they'd think you had a very big dog and give you a wide berth. :wink:
