Some questions though (for anyone)..........

1) Is the main car park in the centre of town, as marked here.... http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=aberfo ... %20FK8%203

2) Roughly how long will it take to get there from the out skirts of Glasgow, somewhere like Dumbarton.
As i recall, the main car park is just along from the Woolen Mill, which also has a fair size car park.
Not sure about snack bar at this time of year but the Woolen Mill has a cafe
From Glasgow? Not sure, 40 mins at most????

Cheers Leon King, I suppose after driving 4-ish hours to get to Glasgow another 40 minutes will not hurt.

All this going well, we will see you there folks. :D

Sunday morning should be a good time?

Also who else is going from Glasgow? If the timing's right we could have a convoy. :-k

88 miles and just over 2 hours for me. Thank goodness I will be comming from the opposite direction to you lot. After being stuck behind bigdaddycain for over an hour in a massive traffic jam in North Wales last weekend I am cured of this convoy lark.

I might well be in the centre of Glasgow. I'll need to work out the best place to drop off the wife etc, so she can go looking round the shops.......... I hope it's just looking. 8-[

We don't normally do the city centre when we are down your way It's the retail parks as we know theres no height restrictions. So it will be a nice change for her. Where's the best shopping centre to keep her quiet for hours?

Thanks. We go to Braehead everytime we're down, but mainly for Ikea. This time we're booked at the Travelodge in Braehead on Monday night, so Tuesday morning it will be breakfast at Ikea!!! =P~
