Hi Vonbontempi, the 2 litre petrol bongo is adequate, and only feels underpowered if you have driven the diesel, otherwise it's perfectly acceptable (and very quiet).

No good for towing, or if expect to haul a heavy bongo up & down dale, but ok for everyday average runs, and a flat (ish) cruise.

At the weekend I had a nose around one of JAL's 2.0 litre Bongos (with mushroom roof). I asked Nick Collier, owner, what he got to the gallon and he said about 30mpg around the Peak Distict but he hadn't taken it on a long run yet.
