Bongo Fury

So it looks like Jal replaced a Japanese alarm for a UK Cat One alarm and immobilizer as this light looks original and I have never seen it flash, only the UK radio and CD player light flashes. My next move will be to follows MFI's advice and rummage around behind the bulb to see if it is still connected up in any way.
