I get the groaning from the brakes at low speed if there has been a build up of surface rust on the disc face from lack of use.

It may be worth doing a quick visual check of the rear discs for signs of scoring, or grooving (not dancing!) I get the groaning from the brakes at low speed if there has been a build up of surface rust on the disc face from lack of use.
