Well done Keefysher....you really are somthing else.
Those who have asked for some...send me your address and I will give you some.
Words fail me, Haydn. Even if they didn't, I'm certainly not prepared to respond to him again here, or in any other thread.

yes Haydn has developed and marketed and sold the low coolant alarms and there are plenty of us that are very pleased that he did ,This as far as I know is a one of purchase by Haydn that he has done to help not to profit by .

Been a member for nearly twelve months and what a great forum (at times) the support given from the likes of Haydn is priceless, surely Ian can decide what is acceptable, if somebody does make a couple of quid helping out and doesn't conflict with what Ian sells does it really matter? And yes we have rules but they could be changed couldn't they?
When there is a request for help I can't understand why people make derisory comments in the threads if they dont want to help dont it's your Haydns and Steves we need.
You've my support Haydn please keep up the good work. =D>

Isnt this forum about mutual help? If small user quantities are not available and someone is prepared to take the trouble and risk of buying quantity why pillory them? If there are members who are distressed by Haydn's post (possibly because they anticipate a spate of promo posts) why not create a 'Suppliers and Products' folder similar to the bio-diesel forum I am a member of? The LC alarm has been a godsend to me and I read about it here. I value the reponses Haydn has made regarding that product and the comments of other users. If Haydn had not taken the step to buy the dye I would still be wondering how to deal with my small leak problem - I searched extensively for single use packages and even discussed with Mikeon4bc the possibility of us buying beween us.

I agree, well done Haydn, I see no reason why this should not be allowed on the forum, it is a service being provided at cost. I may well take advantage of the offer. This has been bandied about as an idea for a long time - anyone could have run with it - nobody else did.
Yes occasionally Haydn oversteps the mark with regard to the forum rules on advertising, which he holds his hands up to & has promised to try & be a good boy.

I met Haydn once.
Genuine bloke
Won't hear a word against him.
Don't know what all the fuss is about.

December 2007

My Mum passed away quite suddenly so the quick trip to the old dart was on.

Had a day to spare, so I rang him for a chat.

Next thing you know we are in Somerset and invited and stay the night.

To cut a long story short, there were major difficulties after we came home to OZ in regard to getting Mums ashes here.
Lots of red tape, customs and carriers unwilling to accept them.
3 months went by.
Family didn't know what to do about it.

I kept in touch with Haydn by email.

In the end, Haydn said to get the Ashes sent to him in Somerset, which we did.

Mum's ashes were here within 10 days.

Cheapest flight to Oz Mum ever did, all paid and organised by Mr Callow.

AND on a lighter note, if you lot want "the" ashes back, better get a Captain first!

We can probably spare Matt Hayden for a while if you need him till he gets over his form slump.

I expect we will have an English captain (after all the South African didn't work out :( )
We could do with an Australian coach though if you are offering.

Actually, someone suggested him on the news yesterday. I don't know how likely he would be to take it. Suppose he did a really good job and we beat you. He'd never forgive himself

Can't see a problem with that. There's a world of difference between blatantly using these fora for business purposes and offering to acquire an item in bulk to share with fellow members at shared cost. See the Spats thread - no-one raised any objections to that.

I'm puzzled as to how ashes will help detect a coolant leak........ #-o
