The hardest part of getting it out was transporting the engine crane to the garage as it weighed about 70Kg. After attaching the chains & lifting it up, I then drove the car forward leaving the engine suspended from the crane. I've since put it on a trolley so I can move it around easily.

Let the destruction commence.... when the weather has warmed up a bit :)

Seems warm enough now Simon

Would you do me a favour and tell me the condition of the rubber engine mounts? Do they seem to survive ok as mine is getting a bit shaky on startup and shutdown and I suspect the mountings are getting a bit "soft".

Cheers :)

Hard to tell Dandy - they seem ok, but they do deform quite easily. Currently, the crossmember is still attached to the engine, but as the weight is resting on it, they are a bit squished. It is a bit scary to think the only thing holding the engine in to to the van is 4 bolts & two bits of rubber
