both my bongos ive owned have been from the north of japland, and both had climate control and both had that lever, but wasnt controlled by the unit in the cab

but my first 95 n had the same intake as the picture but my new 97 r has the same but with an extra vent running across the top so it can draw air in from the top of the vent intake cover as well as the front of the intake cover

Part 61-805 on that diagram is the flap that was moving by moving a slider. It either was flush with the floor of the trunking in position 1..or...Position 2..it flapped upwards into the trunking (hinge at back) so it deflected air that would have gone along the trunking out and down.

I think !!

I'm sure 61-B05 is worked by a control in the cabin - the winter/summer manual flap shuts off the incoming cold air from the extreme front of the engine bay and draws it from the warmer direction at the baulkhead

not sure what you mean? are you talking about the intake (61-820) or the cowling that the fan motor is in? (61-B05)

Have had a good look at lush projects...Is there not two totally different versions of the whole intake cowling ??

Ive said that already :-s  , either way the question was what the pictures are? it just controlls a flap inside the intake cowling from either direct flow of air through the front of the car or if the lever is the other way it will let air come up through the bottom of the intake cowling from the floor up.

My winter pack has the lever. Its in the manual as being an adjuster for cold weather motoring but the diagram is somewhat ambiguous as to which way it should be flicked for cold.

:-k
