Regarding the roof, if you wanted to go the whole hogg, you can still get new ones from Japan, worth bearing in mind should yours get badly damaged or if it just gets too old and tatty.
True. :) But they're not cheap. For bigger repairs, you can remove the sleeping compartment canvas/net. We've put the details on how to do this (with photos) on our website here. Once it's off there are a lot of options for repair - DIY, seamstress, tent repairer. It makes a major fabric repair cheaper, because you won't need to take the bongo to a garage and ask a mechanic to remove it for you. :wink:

Thanks Alan, that's good to know. From memory I think the parts price was around £300 for the original bits.
