From the above I can't see many 185/65 - 15's that have the right load index, only one in that list so you would need to be careful about which you bought.

Why not fit same size as rear? It makes the choice of spare much easier.

Just picked up my 2wd Bongo and noticed it has 215/65/15's all round. So i take it this is not right then.

That's a common size andy...i'd go for 215's over 185's or 195's all day long.

I've always gone for the same size tyres all round on my bongo. (mine's 4wd).
If you stick to the same size all round, and replace the spacesaver with a bongo steel with 215/65/15 tyre (in your case) The "spare" can then become a permanent should you suffer a puncture. Then replace the repaired punctured wheel back to the spare wheel carrier, seems simpler all round....

I Forgot to add, i run a set of 18" rims on my bongo, with tyre size 225/45/18's all round (4wd) I have a full sized bongo steel wheel as the spare, with a 215/65/15 tyre, which is a size difference of 0.01 % in overall circumference. Although it wouldn't look particularly pretty to leave the steel wheel on there for any length of time,at least i know i won't be doing any damage to the 4wd system,as the circumference discrepancy is well within the 2% front to rear wheel size tolerance.

Ok. While were talking tyres. What are the pressures for the 2wd model with 215s front and rear? I'm sure it will be on here somewhere but i can't be arsed to search through loads of posts to find it

Hi Andy - I agree 215's all round is no problem, but just make sure they are load rated at least 92 front and 96 rear. Obviously they are likely to be the same load rating all round, but just be careful as I picked up a bongo recently with 215's all round and they are only 95 load rated. Only 1 point away, but still not up to spec on the rear.
