I won't be coming down as its too far for a mini meet from Cumbria.
If CF is cancelled I shall probably end up at Gibraltar farm at Silverdale.
If however there is any chance of CF even on the hard standing, I'll be going there.
Have a good weekend wherever you end up.
H

Hi Harry,
Thanks for the update. There is a large dry area where we are going called the Pub, where our kids are welcome.
Absolutely no offence was intended by us going along there tomorrow. Just with all the rain forcast, odds seemed against CF taking place, so we had to do what was right for the kids, as Neil posted elsewhere. Wherever we set up tomorrow has to be until Sunday. So sorry this has caused some bad feeling...

Hi Carl is there a limit to this meet or can we just turn up
This is a small site, but very nice, on the main site, I would imagine there will be only room for 15 or so Bongos, if you have no awning, there is a large car park, that may be used.

After much pondering over the bad feeling of the last couple of days. I've decided that Thomas and I will be staying at home this weekend. I'm not taking sides here but I think that there will be only one topic of conversation and I'm finding it far too upsetting.
I hope everyone manages to have a good weekend.

Hi Jacky,
You should've come over.
Yes, as people arrived and came over, a little of what happened was mentioned, then it was forgotten.
Loads of kids, Thomas would have been in heaven.
3 more have just turned up and may have to stop in the carpark. They had missed the post on CF being cancelled, must have been when site was being funny?

I wish we had come, but I wasn't really in the mood. Tom has been preoccupied with his first loose tooth and I've been catching up with housework and then tonight we're going to a wedding reception (although the actual wedding was cancelled) with my ex's family. I'm really not looking forward to it, but Thomas is, so I'll endure it.
Glad everyone is having a good time, I'll be in touch with you when you get back as I've a little puzzle for you involving the lights on my trailer. I want to try to fix it myself but before I get out the hammer and 6 inch nails, I thought I would get your opinion first.
Have fun

It was a brilliant break at such short notice too.
Thanks to NeilT for telling us about this site. Its fantastic.
We had great weather, there was sunbathing, croquest, cricket, football, bowls, ( I am still undefeated Andy....lol)
£7.00 p/n with EHU.
£5.00 p/n without.
Full english breakfast in the pub, £5.00 pp , with unlimited Tea, Coffee and toast.
Evening meals very reasonably priced.
The 1,2 or 3 course weekday evening meal was very well priced too.
Lyndsey (Landlady) even let us have the weekday 3 course evening meal for Saturday night.
All in all, 12 Bongo's and 3 Toyota's turned up.
We hope the Toyota members enjoyed their stay and the Karaoke last night?...lol, it was great to meet you.
3 Bongo's that arrived late Friday night, were new members that had gone to Charity Farm. I can't see why they missed the post's about cancellation, this must have been when the pruning was being done.
Well Done everyone, a Brilliant Meet.
