Well problem now all sorted....Bell Hill Garage couldn;t do much for me so took the van down to Dunnings Automatics in Weymouth. Simon there was great, all now fixed, it was a gearbox rebuild, torque convertor, solinoids, and some fool had fitted a 2WD ecu to the van whcih was screwing everything up!!

I'm now £1645.00 poorer, but Brad is now all better and drives superb!! I'd thouroughly recommmend speaking to Simon if you get gearbox problems!!

They are top guys at Dunnings, haven't had to take the bongo there yet though [-o< Glad you got it sorted, you should have given me a shout, I only live around the corner (ish)

If you read the thread DB, he took it to Bellhill who fit the £650 secondhand gearbox & they sent him to Dunnings as they couldn't sort it #-o

Still don't get it. if Dunnings gave me a quote of 1.6k i would have taken it back to Bellhill for a 2nd hand one at £650. Either Bellhill didn't have a 2nd hand one or well, i don't know what actually. Sorry been on the soup, might understand in the morning
