Thank goodness we haven't had any problems. 8-[ I sleep in the AFT and always leave the sides zipped closed. It's freezing up there :!: Will keep your advice in mind for the future tho' O:)

One of the small white nylon rollers on our roof is cracked and it judders on that side when nearly up, might be worth a look.... plenty of grease has made it work ok, but it might get worse i suppose in time.

Interestingly, i get a smooth operation of the roof, just the once after spraying with lithium grease, then slowly but surely, the groaning and the judders return...same with the roof too.

I have since discovered that if i put my fingers in my ears, and don't watch the roof operation,it becomes silent and smooth.

Get up on a step ladder and you will find the switch. Bend it up a bit or put a sticky pad on the roof seal so it presses the switch.
Can you describe exactly where it is because mine rarely stops beeping. thanks

I am lucky because I have two exposed corners in my roof tent where the metal and the top have seperated

I've got a bit of that too. Dreamwarrior explained how to fix it but haven't got time just now to go searching. He made it sound simple to fix (I hope!)
