Is that not the hole near the sump bolt for oil changes or have you got an unwanted extra one there?
Rats maybe?
Anyway - shouldn't you be at work?

Has anyone else noticed an annoying squeeling noise from their mason alarm? It's kind of constant and I can hear it even over the engine noise due to it's high pitchedness (if there is such a word)

Yes Steve, I have - but it is intermittent and high pitched as you said.
I thought it was just me

Isn't that what it is supposed to do when it goes off?

Mister Maaaaaaaaaaason. Are you there? Any idea why some alarms are squealing and if there is remedy. I'm thinking I might get one but wouldn't want a squealing one. Its bad enough with the kids squealing and the missus clucking at me.
Sorry to be direct. Best to raise it though I reckon. Great device and value for money by all accounts.
I'd love the dashboard location but I think I've used all mine up. But Wayne's suggestion sounds great - think I'll try that if I get one.

My mason alarm has started to make a high pitched noise and can be heard above the engine noise, its not the main alarm as that is a different sound. its very annoying at the moment. its still working as the alarm went off going up a steep hill in Scotland.
Was wondering if the temp inside the cab might be affecting the inside workings of the alarm, due to some high weather temperatures lately.

, not only does it ACTUALLY tell you your engine is getting hot, wheather it be an overheating issue or just hot running temp, it actually shows you how hot you are running it

Yes I'm here. I keep a low profile since I was accused of promoting my alarms. I have no idea why these two alarms are "squealing" and I'll certainly investigate.
First I need to know two things ... who are the customers (my customers have names and addresses, not avatars) so that I can see which batch their alarms were from, and a bit more information about the fault - is the operation of the pointer still "improved" - no dead spot in the middle? what number is the adjuster set to? when did the squealing start? is it always there? does the alarm bit still work normally if you set the adjuster to a low setting, say "3"? I'd prefer an email discussion (
[email protected]) because it's easier to file, but use PM or this board if you must.
I offer a full refund if an alarm is returned because the customer is not satisfied. If there appears to be a fault I'll be happy to supply a replacement to test first.
