Read my post, i already said what its for :arrow: if you slot the the bit into the edge of the runner (the bar bit into the matching groove on the clip thing) it stops the bench seat from locking at the front so you can just slide it back rather than having to put you arm under the bench seat and unlock it and slide the bench seat back into it usaul locking position

its just to stop it locking right at the front behind the drivers and passenger seat.

Makes sense really if you use the rear bench seat, as you get into the rear bench seat you have to slide the front seat forward, if you didnt have the antilocking peg thingy, the seat would just lock into position at the front, but if the antilocking peg thingy was in place you could just get in the rear bench seat, and pull the front bench seat back into its normal posistion
Mine does that without the thingy, (i don't have one) when you lean the door side front bench forward to get into the back bench in the MPV job...
Then when the door side front bench is up righted it rolls back snapping to its original position! (in mine anyway).

However, it can be held in the furthest forward position with the lower catch holding the seat forward. (something like that...) :P
