Clean the seal and the roof where it touches. Smear some vaseline or grease on the seal and then close the roof. If you don't have a thin mark/line of grease all round then that could be where it isn't sealing correctly. The seal should easily pull down so you could try pulling it down slightly to see if it will reseat to the countour of the roof.

Hi ,
I have tried the vaseline on roof trim and it appears to have touched all of the roof, however I found the rubber seal around the roof has a 1p size hole in it. Could this be the problem? if so any suggestions of where I would get another. still can't find a problem with switches.
Thanks so much

Fill the 1p sized hole with a bit of sealant and see what happens. (put a bit of clingfilm where the sealant will touch the roof to stop it sticking)

JustKampers
http://shop.justkampers.com/advanced_se ... 2&x=22&y=5 sell various trims for pop-tops (Bongo's not listed - obviously!). I haven't got around to comparing the profiles yet, there's a chance that they may have one that fits.

BINGO ! I think it has worked. No Screaming gremlins in the roof whilst going up the motorway, but unable to get much speed and it is a very calm day, No wind. I will tidy it up a bit now and hopefully get some new trim.
