Mine's overreading by a flat 5mph - i.e. at 20mph (GPS) i'm reading 25 (Speedo) , and at 70mph (GPS) I'm reading 75 (Speedo).

I suspect the easiest thing to do is pop the cover off, pull the needle off, find somewhere long, straight and empty, and refit the dial when doing a constant 20 or something..(I believe they pull off/push on?)

It'll be on my list of things to do, but suspect I won't get round to it this weekend.

Could, of-course, fit much lower profile tyres to compensate ;)

Hmmm - a thought - if the speedo is overreading like this, is the odometer likely to be doing same?

Just bought some tyre-weld type stuff, figure that if i get a puncture, before I manage to track down a full size spare, i'm probably better off using that over the 13 year old japaneese rubber on small rim. still restricted to a lower speed, etc, but at least less likely that the tyre will come off the rim!
