Thats not entirely what I meant BDC, the light going out just means the light has gone out. When one or more gps' become weak, they need a longer warm up, to fire up.
From cold if I crank it over as the light goes out I get a puff of black smoke & 10 seconds or so of ghastly lumpiness.
Hate that.
Leaving an extra 5-10 seconds before the final key turn always brings an instant, clean, crisp, sewing machine like smoothiness to life.
This, I believe is because I need a new set of plugs. (Somewhere in the Top Five of my To Do list.)
There have been many threads on here regarding this & new plugs seem to have sorted most.
The point I was attempting to offer was that despite bongomaan replacing the plugs, he still seems to have the problem lurking in the background. Either, its the relay or some other component that is at fault perhaps?
