Our last MOT we were advised that the front passenger disc was slightly pitted sooo... I have it in mind to renew all corners this year. Including new pads just for the fun of it.

Also the bushy things are to be done and and anti roll bars as I have read that this is good to cure squeaks over the nasty speed bumps.

I can see me working a lot of overtime at work this year

It won't matter if you are dropping all the oil for the change anyway, you'll need two 5 litre tubs...

Thanks for that, also getting a pela pump to make things easier.

While we are at it I suppose we ought to check gearbox oil ?

It wouldn't do any harm...After a drive, (gearbox warm) with engine running, and trusty hubby with foot on brake, and in "D" (yes, really!) check level, check colour (cherry red)and check he has his foot firmly on the brake! (probably a good idea to put the handbrake on,and chock the wheels too!)

Thanks very much, fantastic as always

I'd better get to bed now.... I shall write him a "to do" list.... one being to find our manual as he does not believe me on where to check gear oil

I'm changing my oil and filter this weekend. Do you want my old oil? It will be 68000km fresher than yours. You might as well take the filter as well.

Same here, changing mine at the weekend, hasn't been done since i bought it. But it has been off the road for a total of 2 months because of the problems. I usually go for two changes a year as well, but now we've got the other car now i can split the mileage.

Biddy!!!  Get it done man!!

Isn't it weird? I've never noticed biddy posting on here about any problems with her bongo, yet, despite the lack of servicing/preventative maintenence,it has provided sterling service!

I hope it doesn't start playing up after the service

When you hear of some of the horror stories SOME owners have had with their regularly serviced bongo's, it makes you wonder.... :? :?
