once again - thanks to all for giving some detailed and sage advice (slowness of reply due to going to a Northern Soul evening at a local pub, then coming home and watching Flight of The Conchords and having a few Whiskys. Will keep you updated with what happens re the bongo hunt....

Yes, listen to all the above important advice, do not deviate from this.
Some rules that I keep quoting (my personal ones) are:
Do not take the Misses
Do not buy in the wet
Buy local
I always say this and will proberly get moaned at.
